The Tix widget set is another great example of extending the power of Tcl
in Tcl itself. Some folks have commented on the lack of Lamda functions,
yet there have been several Tcl code implementations of this type
of function. And there is tkauxlib, a Tcl library adding many of the keyboard
bindings that folks have requested. These are just a few of the cases
of extending the language using only the language itself.
