I would like to second this. Everything Steve says is true. Tcl programs
do not scale well after a certain point, but [incr Tcl] does.
We have had excellent result building large, mission-critical
telecom applications -- I don't think it would have been possible
without the data structuring capabilities and classing system
that itcl provides.
(Tcl-DP was also really useful.)
